This tablet was placed in a prominent position in the clubhouse of the council. It was prepared under the direction of James L. McKeon.
One hundred and sixty-five members of Kearny Council were in service. One of these, John G. Flanagan, was killed in action. He was attached to Company M, 310th Infantry, 78th Division. He fell at St. Juvin, October 17,1918.
