In 2005, we began transcribing records from military books, and developed a separate database of these names indexed from a variety of historical military sources -- including rosters, muster rolls, troop histories and more.
In April 2010, The Military Roots Project database was merged into Genealogy Today Subscription Data and no longer offered as a separate subscription. To access the resources previously in this data product, visit the Military Records section of our subscription data area.
