General Orders No. 12, 1864, War Department

In the settlement of the clothing accounts of volunteers whose periods of service have been less than one year, they will be entitled to the following credits for the different periods of service, viz:

Three-months' service..........................$ 23 93/100
Six-months' service............................$ 35 32/100
And nine-months' service......................$ 40 34/100
