Its first location was at Lake Como. In the year 1891 it was removed to its present location at Wacouta and East Ninth Sts. Here it has developed gradually from a capacity of 25 beds to the present capacity of 125 beds.
In connection with the Hospital is a home and school where deaconesses are trained. This institution was established in the year 1902. Its aim is to train workers not only for the important positions in our own institutions, but for institutiolan and parish work in general and for the mission field.
